Lawrence Grant | Founder & Executive Director
Lawrence has come from a background of Direct Sales which commenced when he immigrated to New Zealand in 1990. Starting as a door to door salesman for Electrolux, Lawrence soon rose through the ranks and took over the Electrolux Direct Sales business (Lux NZ) as General Manager managing a nationwide team of 130 people. Almost 20 years experience with Electrolux provided Lawrence the opportunity to sell and in a number countries throughout Asia and Europe. From
Demonstrating washing machines from the back of a ute in Thailand to water purifiers in Vietnam and food mixers in Hungary, Lawrence has a raft of experience in all aspects of Direct Sales. After a short break after leaving Lux, Lawrence joined Energy Mad to grow and develop the Ecobulb LED direct sales business. In 2016 Energy Mad chose to divest this business and Lawrence took over under the My Eco umbrella.
Living and running the My Eco business from their lifestyle block in Ohoka North Canterbury, Lawrence and wife Katie enjoy family life with their three beautiful school age daughters, Max the Labrador, Cleo the cat and Cinnamon Travel and cars are Lawrence’s passions that he enjoys during the few hours a week he may have spare when he’s not focused My Eco.
Katie Grant | Finance & Administration Manager
Katie takes care of the Company finances and Administration and is supported by Kirsten and Tracey.
Canterbury born and bred, Katie met Lawrence at Electrolux and after many years of friendship they were engaged in Cyprus (Lawrence’s family’s heritage) and were married at Wilsons Mill Gardens in Ohoka.
Following a few years out of the workforce as a full time Mum, Katie returned when she joined My Eco in 2016. Having almost 10 years direct sales experience, Katie is well versed in the business model and is passionate about delivering exemplary customer service. Katie is dedicated to being a great Mum to their three girls and animals but too loves to travel.
Kirsten Ewen | Consumer Care & Finance
Kirsten joined the team to assist with managing our customers consumer finance needs but soon found a niche in customer care.
Having 9 years experience as a Manager at DTR, Kirsten is ver familiar with consumer credit and takes care and pride in ensuring our customers get the best deal possible. Managing our online Helpdesk and online reviews, Kirsten in constantly monitoring our performance and enduring any customer concerns are quickly attended to.
